Pomy Gear Guide

Everything you need to care for your activewear, maximize silicone grip performance, and elevate your practice

Pole Wear Care & Maintenance

Protect your investment and preserve your silicone grip performance with these specialized care steps.

Washing Silicone Prints

Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent for maximum durability.

Flip inside out prior to washing to protect active grip surfaces.

Wash only with like-colored garments.

Drying & Storage

Always air dry. High heat degrades the bond between silicone and fabric.

Never use a tumble dryer.

Store flat or loosely folded, taking care not to fold directly on silicone grip areas.

The "Stick Killer": Never use fabric softeners on pole wear! Softeners leave a slippery film over silicone prints that permanently destroys their grip capability.

How Our Pole Wear Is Made

1. Performance Design

Engineered with strategic grip zones, cutouts, and high flexibility specifically tailored for pole movements.

2. Premium Materials

Crafted from moisture-wicking, four-way stretch fabrics that balance optimal skin contact with full coverage.

3. Reinforced Crafting

Built with flat-lock anti-chafing seams and heavy-duty stitching at key stress points to withstand intense training.

4. Quality Control

Rigorously tested to verify grip integrity, seam elasticity, and fabric durability prior to delivery.

Fit Guide & Session Tips

Choosing Your Fit

Second-Skin Fit: Pole gear should sit flush against your body without digging in or gaping during inversions.

Between Sizes? Size down for sticky/silicone gear. High compression keeps grip panels locked against skin without shifting under weight.

Coverage Levels:

Beginner: High-waisted bottoms and maximum torso contact for basic sits and climbs.

Intermediate/Advanced: High-cut leg openings, open backs, and waist cutouts to maximize skin-to-pole contact for advanced tricks.

Bust Support: Ensure wide bands and secure shoulder placement to prevent accidental slipping during head-down moves.

Practice & Studio Protocols

24 Hours Before: Avoid body oils, heavy lotions, or spray tans. Moisture traps under silicone and reduces grip on both skin and apparatus.

Before Class: Remove all jewelry, rings, and zippers that could scratch metal apparatus or tear fabric/silicone panels.

During Session: Wipe down poles frequently with rubbing alcohol. If wearing silicone gear, allow the gear to warm up to body heat for peak stickiness.

Post-Session: Take gear off promptly after training. Wash skin thoroughly before applying post-workout body lotion.

Pro Tip on Silicone Wear: Sticky pole wear functions best on clean skin. If your gear feels slippery, clean the exterior silicone with cold water and a drop of dish soap to remove accumulated body oils or floor dust.
